Gary Frost will be the featured speaker at the second annual William Anthony Lecture on Conservation. He will discuss the history and future of the UI Libraries Book Model Collection. 6pm in E105 AJB

Scientific Books and their Makers: A Symposium Sponsored by the University of Iowa Center for the Book, Rare Book School, and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. More information about the symposium can be found here.
November 5th
Brownell Lecture in the History of the Book with Mary Fissell
Dr. Fissell is Professor in the Department of the History of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University, where she also co-edits the Bulletin of the History of Medicine. Her scholarly work focuses on how ordinary people in the past understood health, healing, and the natural world. 7:30pm in W151 PBB
December 11th
UICB Open House
Exhibits from UICB studio classes in lettering arts, papermaking, bookbinding, artist books, and letterpress printing will be on display. 4:00-6:00pm Ground Floor, North Hall.
