Professor Emily Martin will be a guest speaker at two lecture series across the Midwest this month.

On October 19, 2017, Martin will give a public lecture at the University of Northern Iowa (Cedar Falls, IA). She is the invited speaker for a public lecture on her artist’s books titled "Telling Stories Sometimes With Words."

From October 25 through 28, Martin will be the headline speaker for Octavo Fest (Cleveland, OH)—a multi-day, multi-location event (including Oberlin College in Oberlin, OH). She will give three public lectures and will be meeting with students at Oberlin College, Cleveland State University, and the Shaker Heights Public Library.
