Printing faculty member Sara Langworthy has won the 2011 College Book Arts Association Emerging Educator Award, a national competition that acknowledges transformative studio mentoring and pedagogy. Sharing the award with Anna Embree (Associate Professor at the University of Alabama and UICB graduate), Sara was recognized for excellent student work, original course design, and inspiring studio sessions.
