Drought Behavior
March 8, 6:30-9:00
Public Space One
129 E. Washington St (basement of the Jefferson building)
Please join us for the opening of an exhibition of work by Patrick J. Reed.
Drought Behavior features a series of drawings created in a feverish frenzy during the hottest days of 2012. Originally intended as a series of erotic studies, the project commanded a berserk trajectory of its own, veering off into wilder realms. The exhibition is presented in three parts with a coda. The opening reception will be preceded by an artist's talk at 6:30 p.m. and feature a soundscape performed by Georg Koszulinski from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Drought Behavior will be up through March 16.
Note: Drought Behavior contains dark and violent imagery. We advise you of this because we want both to keep PS1 open to all artistic content, and to allow all visitors to feel safe in the gallery.
