What Happens: A Festival of Poets' Theater

Work by MFA candidate Sonia Farmer will be performed as part of What Happens: A Festival of Poets' Theater, held at PS1 following the Spring Gallery Walk.

 

This year's festival will take place on two nights, March 1st and 2nd, and features invited guests Tracie Morris and Bernadette Mayer alongside student playwrights.

Friday March 1st at 8pm, will feature plays written and directed by:

Sonia Farmer | Morgan Grambo

Andy King | Dakota Parobek

Nora Miller | Stephen Ira

Kiley Reid | Nicole Gabrione

Jorrell Watkins (writer and director)

 

Saturday March 2nd at 7pm will feature plays written and directed by:

Tracie Morris | Eric Marlin

Bernadette Mayer | Erica Vannon & Bianca Rae Messinger

 

with a reception to follow.

 

What Happens is supported by an Arts Without Borders grant from the Department of Theater and by the Iowa Writers' Workshop.
